Process
Step 1 Open the Space Explorers page. This will tell you who's in your group and which planet you have to explore. |
Step 2 Start looking up and writing down information on your planet. These notes will be eventually be turned in to Miss Bouteiller. Here are some ideas you could be looking for.
A. What color is the planet?
Here are some websites to help you get started: http://www.kidsastronomy.com/solar_system.htm http://www.solarviews.com/eng/homepage.htm http://www.nineplanets.org/ These are some fun websites that tell you about your age and weight on other planets! http://www.exploratorium.edu/ronh/age/ http://www.exploratorium.edu/ronh/weight/index.html |
Step 3 Prepare a 1 page type written, double spaced report about your planet including all the wonderful information you found. Please remember to proofread your paper before handing it in. Along with the 1 page report, I want you to turn in the notes you took when you were researching your planet. |
Step 4 Get together with your group and discuss your findings with each other. Then prepare an oral report that you will present to the class. |
Step 5 The last and final step of your mission is to create a visual aid to assist you in your oral presentation. It can be a model of your planet, a poster board, etc. Be creative! |
